A huge Welcome to our newest Nextage Realty office, Nextage Professionals Realty in Freeport, Illinois! Nextage Professionals Realty is expanding to Freeport, Illinois with a new office opening under the leadership of Jan Mansfield and Lisa Radke.
Instead of posting the usual welcome blog post, I wanted to write this one personally. I’ve known both Lisa and Jan for quite a while and they’re not only amazing business women, but they’ve become great friends of mine.
I was an agent in Jan’s office when she was Century 21 Country North, and came into the Nextage Realty family through her conversion over. When I was starting a real estate career as a new agent I chose her office because the mentoring and marketing that she offered was so far above what the other brokerages offered here In Rockford. She taught me that it’s not about commission splits – it’s about how successful you can be as an agent what your office does to support you in that. She has always been one to see not just where the real estate industry is, but where it’s going, and she knows that in order for her office to be successful she has to do everything she can to give her agents what they need to thrive. Leaving the old brand that she was connected to for so long to join Nextage Realty was just another way that she proved that dedication.
Lisa came to us in the middle of that transition. She’s a firecracker! She is smart, has a sense of humor that lights up a room, and has become a very dear friend of mine. She came into real estate at probably one of the worst times based on market conditions, but she built her business with her marketing know how, work ethic, and a lot of out-of-the-box thinking. She built a blog about her target market area, www.thingstodoingalena.com , is involved in her community, and she has done well despite a tough market. Now she’s taking that growth a step further by opening her own branch of Nextage Professionals in her home market of Freeport, IL. Knowing Lisa, an office in Galena will be next up on her to-do list, as well.
What I love about both of these women (other than that they’re both incredibly smart) is their passion, their dedication to our industry and the agents who work so hard for their clients, and both Jan and Lisa know that it’s not just our business model that’s important – it’s our “We” culture where agents, teams, and brokers all work together to fix what’s broken in our industry. With the two of them combined I know that Nextage Professionals Realty in Freeport is going to be a huge success.
